Mosconi cup

No one made Earl play in this event. He is the one who put himself up for scrutiny.

People love whining about "snowflakes" but calling reasonable criticism of Earl "hate" is pure snowflake.
Earl’s status as one of the greatest 9-ball players of all time is not in question here, but at his age, for him to be chosen as one of the top 5 US pro players to represent the US on this stage, is a testament to the state of where pro pool currently is in this country.

It would be like choosing Phil Mickelson for our Ryder Cup team - They were both in their prime a quarter century ago and in Earl’s case he was a stronger player 40 years ago.

Choosing whether to criticize or praise shows what kind of person you are.

Praising bad behavior, violence, and poor sportsmanship is a sign of what kind of person you are, also.

Earl the swirl got praised despite shitty behavior and this is what he turned into. I won't fault anyone for criticizing, but they should spread the blame to include the people who advocate for ol' swirly.
