Cues in progress

Thanks!

Here's the prong, beautiful 1960s example

This one was coated in chalk and nicotine, now down to bare wood. The chatoyance is unbelievable, I laid it down in the sunlight so it really showed. Will have a solid white implex joint and big pin shortly, with two nice shafts.

The wrap was solid black, but is on the way back. It is super smooth so I might leave it original and full of patina, or may rewrap with a flax linen.

The buttcap has been modified to fit a KU spec bumper and adjustable weight bolts.

With the vibrant veneers and flashy wood, this should make a darling of a player. Fullsplice with character

Cue is sick love the wood in the points, so much character.

Coming along, I should have taken more before shots of the Muecci and Ingram, but they were tumble-polished with chalk and dirt before, you can see the drastic difference before and after cleaning in the lathe photos.

The Meucci ferrule is cracked but it's that original PVC from the 80s with a Chandivert Champion tip. Plays too good to change out.

My pool table is getting overtaken with cues, so I'm going to have to start rehoming these.
