Which balls

On FB, "Legends of Pocket Billiards" recently had new, in the shrink wrap sets of Aramith Tournament TV Sets for $290.00 That's over $100 off! May want to reach out and see if he has a couple of sets left. They DO have the orange 5 ball but have the pink and browns.

I am looking at buying some new balls for my home table. I have Centennials now but was wondering if the Aramith with the Durasmith finish would be better?
My 30 yr. old Centennials wouldn’t rack tight anymore, and needed daily polishing (Master chalk). So, when I had the table recovered, I sold them on eBay and bought a Duramith set (& a red circle CB). With V-10 chalk, I only polish once a month (my machine will now likely outlive me), though because the balls slide a bit harder when racking, not because they look at all dirty.

not sure what you mean by this ?
I just assumed no one who uses a triangle positions it over the footspot first and then places the balls (like with a template). Everyone who doesn’t (and uses a polisher) would realize that the racked balls produce more friction/sliding resistance when dirty.

Pink and brown balls are an abomination too. What's the matter with you? As a kid did someone take all the good crayons?
I don't care for them either. Why?

Can you guess what’s my favorite brand of pool balls to play with?
I can purchase any brand but why change when you have the best.

I’ll probably have to start traning a new set of balls soon. I love my centennials plus after 15 years of using them they know they better go in the hole or else. A couple of January nights outside in central IL and they fall in line, no more rebellions. It takes a couple years to train a new set 😁

If you spin them up real good in a good cleaner, I’m my experience they stay clean as long. But maybe I never noticed. As long as I don’t get bad contacts or skids it’s ok with me.
This thread gave me the itch for pretty and shiny I suppose so I just pulled the trigger on a new set of Centennials. Ran across them on Amazon to the front door for $336.90.
