Gorst makes history at DCC

It has been mentioned that Gorst now becomes only the second player in DCC history to win all three of the main tournaments. The first was Alex Pagulayan. What makes this special is this is Fedor's third time playing at Derby. He did it in two years what took Alex ten plus years. Fedor made some other history as well.

He becomes one of only four players to have gone back to back All Around Champions:

Fedor- 2022, 2023
Alex- 2015, 2016
SVB- 2011, 2012
Efren- 2004, 2005

One of only 4 players to go back to back in a specific tournament:

Fedor- 2022, 2023 Bank Pool
SVB- 2011, 2012 One Pocket
Brumback- 2009, 2010 Bank Pool
Efren- 2004-2006 One Pocket

One of only 3 players in DCC history to win two events in one year:

I know Tony made a run, but everyone who does something like win all events will just have to be great physically and on the table.

That’s just not true. It’s a game played with concentration and a single arm motion. Physical fitness is not relevant.

Fedor started playing at Derby in 2016, he played in the event 5 times.

How many games did he play at the entire DCC? 300? And play just as good in game 1 as in game 300? You can't convince me that physical fitness and stamina does not have anything to do with it.

SVB’s 2011-2014 was stupidly strong.

Just in terms of DCC, he repeated as MoT 2011-2012 and won 9 ball and Big Foot in 2014.
