Glen...watched your video several times and I very much liked your step by step approach and explanation. I have a few questions, please.

If I am doing a stapled install on my 9 foot GC 1, can I use your same step by step approach with staples rather than glue? I am planning to use Championship Tour Edition 3030 cloth which I have read has a stretch index of about 3 inches. Would you agree with that, and what "working backoff" dimension should be used? Lastly, I believe you implied in your video that the stretch to use to create slack at the side pocket on a full size table was approx 13/16, is that right?

Your video is great and will provide invaluable info to all of us beyond your years. If you could see your way to make more videos of other types of installations, I for one would encourage you to do so.....:)

Thank you so much

Be careful, Tour 30/30 is far more elastic than most worsted cloth out there. We stretch it 4" side to side with no backing off. Getting a lesson this coming Saturday with Jack Z & todd. Todd stretches is 4.5" side to side. Looking forward to seeing his methodology and learning new stuff!

I installed on the 9- 9' CG3's at MissCue South here in Toledo and have been using it as our main go to cloth!

Thank you....so Glen makes an IMPORTANT point about backing off 3/4 inches, so you have enough stretch left to pull the ends properlyand get the cloth evenly stretched in all directions. Do you find that with Championship 3030 that when stretching it to the max you still can pull the ends to square things up ok? And do you index and mark the cloth with lines as Glen does so you can see the results?

I'm telling you right now, Glen makes stretching cloth look a LOT easier than it is. lol He walked me through stretching mine, and I also had both videos. Much cussing and sweating and loss of skin off knuckles took place.

Thanks for the info...did you get your lesson on this cloth install....could you elaborate a little on the stretch in both directions and anything else that might be helpful. I am planning on installing this cloth, Championship Tour Edition 3030, very soon.

Thanks again

He's gone. Got the axe again. Best just to contact Glen.

This is directed at Glen (RKC), it appears that you are back posting here. If so, could you address my original questions in this thread regarding Championship Tour Edition 3030 cloth on a 9 ft GC 1. I very much like the methodical approach depicted in your cloth install video on you tube, however I plan to use staples. If you have any words of wisdom for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Your best method is to CALL him. He's listed his # here somewhere. Post #2 has it listed.
