What tip?

I am a newbie somewhat, and I am going to buy a carbon fiber shaft. The reason for this type of shaft is I want to get used to it as I grow in competence. I don't want to switch from wood to carbon fiber down the road and have to sort of relearn how to aim, even if it is subtle. My question is what type of tip would you recommend for a newbie? Soft, medium, hard, or manufacturer/brand ?

No real way to answer this. Sorry but its true. Gillion tips out there. Get a good med. layered tip. Go from there.
