Accu rack table saver circles could be a less invasive option if the pool hall says no to the reinforcement stickers.

I used to use the hole reinforcers on my tables but I switched to this:

Make small marks.
The marks look like the normal wear marks from jacked-up and jump shots.
They brush off easily as well and wear off on their own in a day or two if you don't mark over them.

I’ve never seen this problem, and I use them with students on every kind of cloth. On the other hand, my sight sucks, and I’m usually drinking … so there’s that.
As an adhesive SME, there are many levels of stickiness for Pressure Sensitive labels. Maybe you latched on to some that aren’t made for paper reinforcement? I’ll need to stay away from those.

If you find the reinforcement sticker is hard to remove from cloth apply to something else first. The adhesive will then cling on to some particles there first (maybe peel it up then stick it back again...). Then apply it to the spot on the table...it will be less sticky then.

I wouldn't use them to mark places for jump, masse, or break shots. I have used them for years and have never had a problem with removal ... but after removal brush the area down to remove the chalk marks.

This illustrates what I've learned - hole reinforcers leave a little glue behind after being removed. If you remove them right away, not much problem - but the longer you leave them on the more glue remains.
I used to use a break rack template that uses hole reinforcers for all 15 balls - left them on for a longer time (days? weeks?) and when removed they left perfect little donut-shaped black marks where the remaining glue collected dirt. I don't remember how/if I removed that.

Never had issues with them. Another option is to use a tailors chalk, but only use the blue or the white (from my experience). I just recently was using some to mark rack and break lines on a few tables, someone grabbed the yellow one from my box to draw a penis on the table (because no red-blooded American male can resist not to LOL) and it took a while to get rid of it. The white/tan and blue comes off much easier. The guy that did it was apologizing because he thought it would come off easily, till I showed him the very first table I did where someone did the same thing just with a smaller penis in blue LOL.

I've seen a player lick their finger and lightly wet the cloth where they wanted to mark a spot...I like shark savers tho

What pj says. I have the mighty x drill marked and leave the rings there a loooooooong time. Glue is in the cloth. But those used for only a session come off readily.
In any case, before applying to their table, ask the proprietor out of courtesy.
