uniloc QR stuck

I have a unilock QR that is stuck. I cant get it undone. I have nobody here to help either. How do i unstick it? Do i have to put it in the car assembled and get someone at the pool hall to help me?
So to the original poster......How did it go? would love to hear what needed to happen to get it apart

I kept trying and trying and eventually it came apart. I think when it did budge i put a little sideways pressure on it which made it unstick.

This seems like a good place to ask: what is the preferred lubricant for a cue joint? I have a Viking cue with their quick release which is a very similar concept to a UniLock. I was getting a little chatter when screwing and unscrewing so I put a dab of carnauba on it and it seems good. I didn't want to use a traditional oil or grease because I wasn't sure if that would be bad for the wood.

Pw98, how long was the cue assembled before you realized it was stuck?

no lube is the best answer.....most lubricants attract/trap dirt/dust etc. making a worst problem. Use denatured alcohol on wipes and Q-tips to clean the pin and insert on a regular basis to prevent a lot of issues down the road.

Probably overnight.
