They want us to get excited about this set of newly released balls and they can’t even show them to us, other than a very yellowish looking cue ball?

Personally, from the above photo, I’m finding the apparent appearance of the 100 logo to be too big and too distracting when you are cueing your tip to the cue ball.

If the improvements to the resin compound are even half of what they're claiming, I'll probably be using them. I imagine they'll eventually produce other cue balls with the same formula.

I, for one, have a set of duramith balls with at least 10 years on them.
Except for a few divots on the CB from jumps and breaks, the balls appear to last 30-40 years.
At 70, I don't expect to need a new set..........in my lifetime.

{Pretty much the definition of market saturation.}

On the other hand, my dad's table he got from a pool hall going out of business in 1967, came with a set of balls that we used until we sold the house and donated the table to the next owner. These had to be 40+ YO and were likely pre-phenolic.

But at least the 5-ball was orange.

This layering mix thing they're doing gives it a 3D look; yellow can be hard on the eyes, the striped 9 could be a real teaser.
The balls without numbers may need to be norm...

Then I hope they figure out the colors. The predator ball sets have the traditional colors but slightly different hues than my Aramiths. When I see the 7, I don't immediately recognize it as a 7 even though I can see it's maroon.

They just want to copyright te number.

When will someone make balls with numbers and colors that are identifiable on a stream?
I think the traditional colors work as long as you have the proper range of brightness. The Predator 3 is too dark and the 7 is too light. People keep futzing with the colors but the ones we have work if they are selected well.

Being a commemorative set, I would assume they are traditional colors. Everything we've seen so far indicates that.
The site says the box is oak.
