Shafts For Omega DPK

I'm looking to have two wood shafts made for an early 90's Omega cue. I'm sure DPK is out of the question, and people aren't getting much if any response from Mike Bender these days. I know quality shaft wood is in limited supply, but I'm still hopeful. First, before I, post this in the Ask The Cuemaker section, does anyone have a reccomendation? Second, is Proficient Billiards a choice just to build shafts?
Thanks so much.

I have great shafts and can send them to Bender for you to finish reasonably soon

There’d be no reason whatsoever to even consider Kersenbrock for shafts for your cue. His only involvement in Omega was doing inlay work. He didnt build cues at Omega, and he certainly had no influence on the structural design of Omega cues.

I shot a note to Bender. He said he certainly would be open to making shafts for an Omega cue.

I guess I’ll tell Mike you weren’t interested.

Rick at Esoteric Cues on here uses the same joint screw as Omega.
Might be worth asking.

Thanks so much for everyone's help. I posted this for a friend of mine, and he decided to use a local maker.
Thanks again.
