Once Jack went to the "Ultra Lite" case he did away with the tubes...At least that's what he told me some years ago at the SBE.

I'm not sure what you are saying, but these are both ProLite cases.

If anyone wants to know the actual weight of these cases let me know.

Exactly...if you look at the inside of the case pics, the tubes are gone and replaced by the sleeve separators. It was explained to me that the weight of the tubes and other materials added to the weight of the older cases.
