Anyone have one or know where to get just the rhodium cue ball? Is anyone a dealer with Dynasphere where we could maybe do a group purchase (saw other posts showing interest in this cue ball).

TIA,

Scott

Might be interested in a Predator (made by Aramith) Acros II cue ball. Does anyone know what grade of Aramith the Acros is (hopefully not the same as the Aramith Tournament black swirl logo cue ball)?

I have seen and played a Rhodium set and understand why you would want that cue ball it's excellent.

I also have a set of Arcos II myself and that cue ball is (in my opinion of course) as good as the Rhodium and looks almost exactly the same.

There is a LOT of debate about Arcos II technology. I wrote to Predator and they responded that it is a "unique formula" that is just for their ball sets made for them by Saluc. I saw where some here wrote the same question to Aramith and they responded that it is their Super Aramith Pro Technology.

All that said, I have certainly played the Arcos II set and the SAP set many many times. I am CONVINCED the Arcos II set is well above the SAP in quality.

Personally, I will take Aramith's word over anything Predator says. There is very little chance Aramith created a different compound just for Predator. It makes no sense.
Good luck finding the Dynasphere Rhodium cue ball by itself. I have been trying too.

Group purchase from the source through a dealer? Haha...

Thanks, I just didn't like how the Aramith Tournament Duramith black swirl with circle logo cue ball played on our slower bar league tables that need a lot of love, including new felt and rails. Many top league players thought it required more effort to get the same expected result. None of the non-Duramith Aramith cue balls I've played with do this and I have a red circle in my bag.

Still looking for one, new or in excellent used condition.

Dynaspheres Support contact in Belgium states suppliers / dealers in USA can order the ball separately, but everyone one I tried on the Dynaspheres dealer list is either closed or do not know how to order them.

Anyone have any ideas?

So I heard from GDM Sports (primary distributor for Dynaspheres balls) that their catalog now contains individual cue balls for sale, including the Rhodium. He was not sure when the resellers or downstream distributors would pick these up. Anyone heard a peep about this?

I've been checking with my supplier and last I heard the place he was going to get them from is no longer carrying Dynashpere.

Actually, after calling around there seems to be no current Dynaspheres USA distributor.

Looks like our best chance would be going through Kozoom Store in France:

I just sent them an email for a purchase and shipping quote for 12 of these balls (should put us in the free zone 5 DHL shipping category to USA). If we get free shipping and if we get the €18.33 tax free price, I think the USD price of each ball not including shipping from the Seattle area when I live would be ~$20.

Who would be interested in a group buy?
