They're free, right, Tom? Because I don't think AZ Billiards allows advertising in their forums, unless of course, if you're offering free help.I am now offering One Pocket lessons to those of you who wish to improve their game from the comfort of their own home. No travel expenses. If you can set up a camera over your table and connect it to the internet I can get you on the road to higher levels of One Pocket bliss or any other popular pool game! I have a camera mounted over my table so I can work one on one with you and demonstrate the lesson right to your computer screen.

You don’t charge enough..,! They’re close to freeHi Fran, If that is true I must say I wasn't aware of that rule and I will take it down or move it to a forum that allows for advertising for paid lessons. Thank you for the info. I do wish to comply with the rules.
So no Fran, my lessons are not free.
Imagine if everyone could advertise in these forums. Free advertising without having to pay a cent to the AZ Billiards owners for the free ad--- not to mention that the forums would then be innundated with ads and sales pitches. They do have a marketplace section. I don't know how that works but maybe that would be the place for your lessons solicitations.Hi Fran, If that is true I must say I wasn't aware of that rule and I will take it down or move it to a forum that allows for advertising for paid lessons. I've been informed I was not allowed to post advertisings lessons for pay on this forum so I've moved my ad to the "For Sale Forum".
Sorry.

I know. It's just a matter of having simple common sense, right? What some of us see as obvious, other's don't see it as obvious. No worries. You shouldn't feel embarrassed. Many have done this before you and many will try after you.Fran, let it go! You made your point with your first post.
As you see, I complied and deleted the meat of my thread.
However, You just happen to be advertising for me by having copy and pasted my post.
Should I be thanking you?
Cheers,
Tom
Oh, get over yourself. All I did was state the obvious and he came at me. Was it you who recommended that he advertise here for free? Is that why you're so defensive of him? If so, then I hope you apologize to him for embarrassing him. I have no idea how he teaches and I have no reason to have any issues with him. Just use a little common sense and ask yourself why other instructors aren't advertising lessons here.Fran. If you do not like what Tom has posted/offered simply report the thread and the moderators will decide. It’s done and the beat goes on. Try to accept Tom is an ambassador such as yourself. You both are sharing the same interests. I personally know Tom. He’s sincere and only concerned is teaching pool. A true instructor and a gentleman. He does not make a lot of money from his offerings. It’s a hobby/passion.
Let the moderators do the moderating.
Tom... I apologize. Please forgive me. I was bad. Seriously if I got over myself I'd be playing a 1 person game of leapfrog.Oh, get over yourself. All I did was state the obvious and he came at me. Thank you guys for the "likes". I really don't know how to remove an entire thread so I moved the meat of if after Fran informed me that it was in the wrong forum. That's fine with me. I don't want special favors, and I don't want to make waves with anyone who demonstrates an opposition to the locations where I post . Especially if they happen to be right, as Fran was.I've been informed I was not allowed to post advertisings lessons for pay on this forum so I've moved my ad to the "For Sale Forum".

I have no beef with Fran. She did take your humor wrong. Yes I support you .. I support everything and everyone I believe in. There is no embarrassment here. Keep up the great work keeping 1p alive and well. Nobody does it better. I’m sorry I did not start with you years ago. You have a special gift. Playing is one thing … and teach as well as you have played and still play. Those that connect with you made the perfect choice…. Regardless of their level.Apology accepted Frank! Your defense is always welcome. I'm sorry you incurred the wrath of Fran in my defense but I know you can handle it as well as anyone I know. Fran appears to be a very sensitive person.
BTW, after 70+ years on this planet it will take more than this little episode to embarrass me I've been embarrassed by the best. That's me!
Tom
I guess you don't want to shut up first. Okay then. Let's continue until you decide to stop. The sensitive one is you. If you want to post in forums, you have to grow a thicker skin --- And you also should learn how to respond to posts. Copying the post you're replying to is standard procedure here, so don't call me a hypocrite for copying what I was responding to. It just shows your ignorance. Do you want to delete the thread? Then just delete your first post and the thread will disappear like it was never there.Thank you guys for the "likes". I really don't know how to remove an entire thread so I moved the meat of if after Fran informed me that it was in the wrong forum. That's fine with me. And to Fran. I think you have over reacted to my reply to your original post. I just found it humorous that at the same time you were objecting to my post you copy and pasted it to yours. If you can't fine the irony in that then......well. I apologize.
It is still up so I guess my thanks is still offered! That is not a jab, Fran. It is a nod that you may wish to do something about your post! And that is what I was eluding to in my previous post! NO "jab" intended, Fran.
Be well Fran,
Tom
Next time I’m in NYC I can give you some free pool lessonsImagine if everyone could advertise in these forums. Free? Spell that. Air is free. You have been known to play at Tom’s house. You are nationally known as 1pPilot. You have worn out so many corner pockets you should be banned. Instead of weight your pocket should be 2” and your opponents 5.5”. You are the SkyKing of 1p. Where’s Penny?Next time I’m in NYC I can give you some free pool lessons![]()
