They're free, right, Tom? Because I don't think AZ Billiards allows advertising in their forums, unless of course, if you're offering free help.

Imagine if everyone could advertise in these forums. Free advertising without having to pay a cent to the AZ Billiards owners for the free ad--- not to mention that the forums would then be innundated with ads and sales pitches. They do have a marketplace section. I don't know how that works but maybe that would be the place for your lessons solicitations.
Did I miss something. Last I heard, according to Beeler, the powers that be encouraged him to advertise his services for pay on the main forum. If it's good enough for him and double o it should be good enough for you.
At least you're actually a legitimate instructor.

I know. It's just a matter of having simple common sense, right? What some of us see as obvious, other's don't see it as obvious. No worries. You shouldn't feel embarrassed. Many have done this before you and many will try after you.
Now as for your nasty comment to me, we can keep it going if you like, with more like this, or you can shut up first. Then I'll be happy to oblige as well.

Fran. If you do not like what Tom has posted/offered simply report the thread and the moderators will decide. It’s done and the beat goes on. Try to accept Tom is an ambassador such as yourself. You both are sharing the same interests. I personally know Tom. He’s sincere and only concerned is teaching pool. A true instructor and a gentleman. He does not make a lot of money from his offerings. It’s a hobby/passion.

Oh, get over yourself. All I did was state the obvious and he came at me. Was it you who recommended that he advertise here for free? Is that why you're so defensive of him? If so, then I hope you apologize to him for embarrassing him. I have no idea how he teaches and I have no reason to have any issues with him. Just use a little common sense and ask yourself why other instructors aren't advertising lessons here.

Thank you guys for the "likes". I really don't know how to remove an entire thread so I moved the meat of if after Fran informed me that it was in the wrong forum. That's fine with me. I don't want special favors, and I don't want to make waves with anyone who demonstrates an opposition to the locations where I post . Especially if they happen to be right, as Fran was.
And to Fran. I think you have over reacted to my reply to your original post. I just found it humorous that at the same time you were objecting to my post you copy and pasted it to yours. If you can't fine the irony in that then......well. I apologize.
It is still up so I guess my thanks is still offered! That is not a jab, Fran. It is a nod that you may wish to do something about your post! And that is what I was eluding to in my previous post! NO "jab" intended, Fran.

I have no beef with Fran. She did take your humor wrong. Yes I support you .. I support everything and everyone I believe in. There is no embarrassment here. Keep up the great work keeping 1p alive and well. Nobody does it better. I’m sorry I did not start with you years ago. You have a special gift. Playing is one thing … and teach as well as you have played and still play. Those that connect with you made the perfect choice…. Regardless of their level.

Tom. Are your virtual lessons single, a series. Where, how do you start. What level players will you work with. You said to call for details but please explain a little bit here. My friends in Md enjoyed the take-out / kick sessions.
