Cue Identification Help Needed

Hello, need all the experts to chime in on what this cue is.
The individual that has the cue was told it was a Tim Scruggs. Definitely didn’t look like one to me but hoping someone can help with what it is.

Yeah I have had a couple Scruggs and aware of where he usually puts them but refinishes do happen. But honestly I am sure it’s not a Scruggs more interested in what it maybe.

So much is not consistent with it being one

Nice woods. Some kind of import. Looks decent but it's a $300 cue at best.

Just my take, maybe the vertical lines on the butt, but nothing else looks like a Cousins.
