Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Picked up the shaft in a package deal along with a Joss Gold letter cue, and older Viking and a Meucci. Doesn’t fit any of them.

Does it start to screw on the joss? I would think it is a 5/16-14 but that pilot is probably too large for a joss.

Yes it will thread up on the Joss just fine and screw all the way up but has about an 1/8 inch gap when almost tightened.

It is the pilot being too large. I have a Jensen and a Sly that have large pilots, measuring.500" or larger. Your shaft would fit in either of mine without a problem. It also would likely fit on a Schon.

If you wanted to use it on your Joss, you would need that pilot sanded down.

Yeah not looking to use it on the Joss it actually came with 4 shafts. You can tell it is a quality shaft and I am just curious who the maker actually is.

If you are trying to find out that it is a tasc/BB/Searing, I doubt you have anything to go on. People will buy it from you as a generic shaft but at a generic price.

Lol… yeah was not being near that specific. I know a lot of cue makers have specific details that jump out when people that have knowledge about those makers see those details.
The insert looked a bit different to me then a lot I have seen as well the silver ring placement can be different on certain makers.
So those were a couple of areas I figured may jump out at someone if it was something specific. I didn’t think that it was a $300, $400 or $500 shaft, once again just was hoping to figure out what maker it actually was.

Black collar, silver ring, piloted- could be from hundreds of cue brands- however: thickness of the silver ring could help narrow it down, thickness of silver ring, it's location on the black collar and the measurement of the distance from the ring to each end of the black collar matter too. As well as the overall length of the black collar- So 4 or 5 different measurements obtainable from that collar and ring- but I don'y know anyone who has those shaft collar measurements cataloged by cue maker. Probably some do for the likes of a Bushka or Szamboti.

That s all makes sense. Well someone mentioned a Schon earlier so next time I have one available I will see if it fits.
Thanks to everyone that looked.
