I watched some of this at a friends place. The quality of play was quite good imo. Really impressed by J. Machin's moves. Varner still has serious chops. Now the bad part: Some of the matches were painfully slow and just too long to watch. IMO for streaming they really need three things: 1. Races to three max. 2. Both players can't owe a ball. DCC does this. 3. Use some form of the 'Grady Rule' to stop the mind numbing marathon wedge games. Allow no more than four balls in the kitchen. Tournament 1p is a totally different game due to time issues. I think using some/all of these changes would make watching(and playing imo) much better. Look forward to y'all's takes and opinions on this.
 
BTW, i totally dogged it by not giving props to Ok. City's Mark Dimick. He's been a fixture in the Ok. scene for yrs and he played great.

I was impressed that Varner was able to play for 14 hours without falling asleep.
