Here is the next step in the evolution of our 4-point cases! There is over 10 yards of handstitching in the multicolored veneers which surround both the points and boxes. It adds an immeasurable amount of character to the case, and harkens to the finite construction techniques which inspire this design.

The "forearm" and boxes are natural veg-tan while the points and "buttsleeve" have been dyed a deep brown and show off the grain of the leather.

The construction of the case is nearly all hanstitched of premium veg-tan from the Walpier tannery in Tuscany. It is built around a 2 x 5 JB Ultrapad interior, and features a 13" pocket with a plush lined extension compartment. The tight fitting lid has a pair of stitched veneer rings to match the base of the case, and is secured by double snaps. Comfort handles in both locations, and a removable padded shoulder strap.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice! 👍

The "forearm" of the next case you do in this style, should be done in Ostrich. It would give the "forearm" a birdseye look, IMO.
You folks are killing it! 🔥😎
Maybe it will be mine.
😉😁
Thanks for the compliment!

Ostrich would be be a challenge to incorporate that way, but the results might be worth it.
Neat design. Nice work!
Thank you!
I like the little touch that you did in the center section. Gives it a stacked leather wrap look IMO.
Very cool.

Yes stacked leather! The idea is to give a wrapped linen look, but that works too!

Just run a solid black/dark border between the ostrich and the beginning of the "veneers/stitching" I believe that would be easiest way to keep the stitching from infringing on the ostrich...Trying to pull off a "bridged point" look would be cool as well.
Keep up the incredible work.
You certainly have a fan in me.
