This place had regular house cues. This happened more than 30 years ago in New Orleans (no jointed house dues back then).A local room has jointed cues for house cues. Not Schons, but they do have wraps.

That’s a good one - they can’t figure out how to rack a 9-ball rack with a 15 ball rack, and they don’t understand why the management doesn’t provide 9-ball racks.Speaking of racks, when a player asks for the diamond shaped rack to play a game of 9 ball.
It'd be pretty sweet if, every time he yelps, someone had a 3-4 second clip of DMX barking/growling pulled up on their phone and hit playAs far as I am concerned, players can do what they want to do, even newbie type stuff. It only bothers me when they start to think that they are better than they really are. For example, they is a guy (mental midget) who loves to show off. He comes into the hall prowls around the table like he's svb, slamming balls around, yelping sounds when he pockets balls, looks behind himself at other people while shooting balls in, all to gain attention . I think 'showing off' is what disturbs me the most.
House cues at my local hall are reasonable quality. Most halls with an American table have jointed wrapless cues or one piece snooker style for Chinese-8.Most halls here have jointed, wrapless cues. I will look up the brand. It's quite a common sight.
Chinese-8 halls sometimes even have them named with their own brand. I used to play at a place called Jianying that had decent one piece Chinese-8 cues.
The diamond rack can go in the unusual/unnecessary items thread for sureSpeaking of racks, when a player asks for the diamond shaped rack to play a game of 9 ball.
I can't even whack it with my left hand(I can use both thoughI saw him drill a behind the back, almost length of the table cut in a YouTube video not too long ago. Wonder If I can dig it up.
I do always wonder why people don't just put a little time into playing both handed... surely they're not so cack-handed that playing behind the back is easier than literally playing with good form?
I wouldn't say equally as well, but you're in danger either hand. Surprising since I can't even piss left handedThat is a desirable talent. There are days I could amputate my left and it'd work better. Oddly enough I shoot pistols equally good with both and long guns I only shoot weak handed and I'd put money on me against most.
I'm naturally a left, that was made to do things right, and then choose whatever is comfy now. So maybe that helps me. I often think one is doing things the other can't. Like all the bad habits that creep into the right game, are different bad habits in the left.I can't even whack it with my left hand(I can use both though) so behind the back is much better
