I have a chance to buy a Keilwood Shaft for $300.00 with a 5/8 10 pin. Anybody have any recommendations on brands?

I have had very good results with the Jacoby. I brought it in February at the BCA and have not switched back to my original shafts and dont plan to.
 
I've been playing with one of Richard Hsu's for about 10 months now. I can't comment as to how it compares to others, but I really like it.

I agree with bbb though. Unless you find one on the secondary market, I doubt that you're going to find a top quality one for $300…

What do you know about "Prather" brand?

I've heard good things about Hsu's kielwood shafts. I'd like to try one but I'm quite happy with my current CF shaft.
