Its my understanding that a 3/8×10 pin can fit a shaft joint thats 3/8×10, or 3/8x10 modified.
However a 3/8x10 modified pin typically fits 3/8×10 standard either slightly tight or can leave a 1/4" of a gap.
So the short answer is , it may fit tight or wont go all the way on the pin that's a 3/8x10 modified.
