Updates on these two projects:
DigiBall: This is coming along nicely. I've finalized the electronics design and will be having the PCB manufacturing company build the first fully assembled sensors in the next few months. FCC testing will follow, and then sales in the United States will be available. The only thing blocking selling in Europe is CE testing, but this is less of a barrier and will be completed soon. I am still hopeful that this will happen by the end of the year. I am also still considering a product pass-around for the app evaluation, though I have gotten good feedback already.
DigiCue: The global pandemic caused the old design to go obsolete due to part shortages. I have finished the new design and ported the code over. All works well and I will be ready to start selling again very soon. I will most likely ask for pre-orders to get the ball rolling on the initial large order. The new design is backwards compatible with the existing apps, though I already started working on a new app. This will take me a while to complete. The new design also allows for Over-The-Air firmware updates, so any changes can be easily pushed to the device, as well as change the behavior to do other neat stuff if we want to experiment. If you want to pre-order please PM me.
See www.digicue.net for more information.
Support:
If you would like to support these projects, please consider purchasing a DigiBall phone stand from Amazon for $25. They are high quality foldable aluminum stands with rubber pads and feet for dispaying your phone or tablet while using a DigiBall or DigiCue. The proceeds will help me with the launch costs. I figure it is more fun to get something useful rather than just donate money!
Thank you all!
Nate
