Hello guys, i have a mezz wavvy pin joint cue
I would like to send it for a refinish as it has a few dings or dents.
However, i would like to change the current black color joint to a white joint simply for aesthetic purpose
( There is no problem at all with the current joint, just prefer the looks of a white joint )

May i know if it is possible ?
And if it’s gonna be a big deal with crazy charges ?
And is it possible to keep the current wavvy pin or will the cuemaker have to rip it out to change the joint ?
Anyone you have good experience with that you will recommend?

Thanks

Proficient Billiards! They are excellent craftsmen and can do anything you request. I haven't used them in a few years, but the work was to notch.

That would be the shaft collar that you want replaced. Mueller's (link below - also above) shows it as $45, I'm not sure if that includes new material.

Mueller's has a refinish (with 1 shaft) as $185, link below.

So all in - without shipping/taxes - you'd be at $230.00.

Proficient has a re-finish at $195 with a wrap, $200 without. They don't have prices for joint collar replacement.

Either way, you'll be pushing $300'sh (or, a third of the price of a new PK Cue ;)) after shipping and taxes.
