I just recently got a set of the dynaspheres and they all weighed 169 except two balls that weighed 168. For the money they are a great deal as I have payed 3x more for other sets and these are just as good.
What's ugly about them, let's start with a pink 4 ball a pink and white 12 ball, a brown 7 ball, a brown and white 15 ball,. The traditional color tournament is much more preferable. For that matter the bronze set for the money is the way to go.In your opinion, what's ugly about them?
The Dynasphere Bronze balls look nice. The set with the triangle around the numbers and the sets with grey balls better come with a free bowl of soup....................Wait, that wouldn't be enough to get me to buy them either. I just like traditional looking ball sets, green cloth, and wood shafts I guess. In your opinion, what's ugly about them?
You will notice over time they stay much cleaner than the aramith's.The Dynasphere Bronze balls look nice. I have a set of dynosphere bronze and love them. They are very nice looking balls and play well. I've used them for a year now without any problems. As far as nails in pockets, the pocket backing has to be tacked in with nails which leaves the head of the nail exposed. That is an issue on my Brunswick Hawthorne table. I put a piece of self stick Velcro on the back of the pocket that takes care of that issue because I don't want any scratches on my pool balls.Went to Dynasphere website and found a local retailer. I'll check them out.
Wow. Never heard about metal nails in the pockets. Do you have any suggestions how to prevent any similar damage like this from occurring? Maybe stuff some old socks down in the bottom of the pockets?
The bronze were not all that easy to find. Seems like the silver are available, didn't like the colors of those either. The Dynasphere Bronze balls look nice. You shouldn't have nails in the back of your pockets. The tacks should be just behind the facing, on the sides of the pocket liners.I have a set of dynosphere bronze and love them. The Bronze set is getting harder to find because they aren't branding it as "Bronze" for 2024 and retailers are selling out their stock. The set will now be called Vanadium and will sell for north of $250.The bronze were not all that easy to find. Seems like the silver are available, didn't like the colors of those either.
glad I got em for the 111The Bronze set is getting harder to find because they aren't branding it as "Bronze" for 2024 and retailers are selling out their stock. The set will now be called Vanadium and will sell for north of $250.
I have a set of Aramith Tournaments in use plus a brand new set in an unopened box that I got from Wayfair for $200. I have a hard time believing that anything can stay cleaner than the Tournaments, they stay clean far longer than my Centennials and Cyclops. If I can find a Bronze set I may buy a them just because they are cost effective. You will notice over time they stay much cleaner than the aramith's.
Not for long, hopefully just long enough for me to get them.Ozone still has Bronze sets at 115bux.
YMMV I guess but I can def notice a difference. Go a full month before needing to throw em in the polisher aramith sets half that.I have a set of Aramith Tournaments in use plus a brand new set in an unopened box that I got from Wayfair for $200. yeah, I immediately grabbed another cue ball after playing with the one that came with the set. Guess I've gotten used to that visual feedback.I wish they'd hurry up and make these available:
