CF Playing SHAFT VS BREAK SHAFT

What is the difference if any between a CF playing shaft and a CF break shaft. Just wondering?

What is the difference if any between a CF playing shaft and a CF break shaft. Just wondering?

Thicker shaft diameter (the last 12”), a harder tip and possibly a slight difference in the ferrule, which would make it or more durable to better withstand the velocity of a break shot.

My BK Rush Predator break cue comes with a warning about some sort of plate in the ferrule area that must be kept intact upon any tip change on the CF break shaft.
