Diamond Professional red oversize 8 foot - what cushions?

I plan on replacing the cushions on my Diamond Professional red label oversized 8 foot table. It is an Oak table with a build date of March 1998. Currently it has Diamond black cushions but I don't know the age. I've read to use them for 7 and 8 foot tables and Artemis for 9 foot Diamond...

If it misses, I get extra feet of roll on the ball vs my home table. Wild.

Maybe if this divorce happens, and it looks like it will, I'll get a place and sell my red label and get a blue one. I'm using the break where the cue ball hops and drops center table ...at least if I do it right.

This blue label table is easier to play on too, despite having tighter pockets. It's all about the responsiveness of the rails. Break = ok, marriage= on life support. Shit. Oh well, might as well improve my game, at this point, it will give me something to keep my mind occupied. Carry on ...

You can convert you red label to blue specs....need a top mechanic who can do it....but it I'd done.

Can ship your rails to them. I know many can do it.
 
If you want new rubber , why not just order it and watch a few youtube videos on how to remove your old rubber glue the new stuff on, and how to stretch your cloth over the rails and staple it on there.. This isn't exactly rocket science or a "new" thing.. You can can do it yourself if you have reasonable use of your hands and just apply some patience and common sense.

- if they can;t find you handsome at least they should find you handy ;-)

the rubber has likely just seen it's best before date and as the rubber ages it gets harder and less responsive..

if you want you can change the cloth while the rails are off and there are choices, some cloth is faster if that's what you want.
