Meucci Leather Wrap

I prefer leather over linen. Have had cues converted by local business, and I am pleased with their work. Having said that, I have friend with a Meucci looking to have similar work done. His cue looks to have linen wrap, but it has clear coat finish over the entire butt. Actually, you don’t even feel the wrap.

I am curious whether others have similar work done. Is this an easy fix, or will this require more detailed work?

Thanks for your response

Possible, just more work and thus higher cost..

You have to remove the clear coat and the wrap. Next you have to see if the channel for the leather wrap is deep enough to install a leather wrap that is flush with the forearm and butt sleeve of the cue. Amy additional work besides the leather wrap install would pertain to making the new leather wrap flush if necessary.
