Simonis 300?

Has anyone ever put Simonis 300 on a regular 9 foot table? If so how did it play? It's my understanding that it is only used on carom tables.

I had it on my carom table and like it. I prefer it to the Royal Pro synthetic which is very good. Many like the Royal Pro for 3C now. That said, I wouldn’t put it on a pool table and never thought about it.

There are a lot of games you can play with 300 on a pool table.

Italian five pins is a great game where the fast cloth helps with precision position. There are extended rules for tables with pockets. The players are the best bankers and kickers in the world.

Taiwanese carom is another great game, where pockets are hazards and the fast cloth helps with precision.

Bank carom (rail always first) is another great game for this situation.

One cushion and three cushion are ok but the pockets get annoying.

You can play all of the other pool games, especially one pocket, with a little adjustment.

It would be waaaaay too fast for pool. My local place has it on the golf table and its like playing on a sheet of glass. For caroms only.
