Break Speed App Issue

I have the Predator Break Speed app. For some reason the table size setting doesn’t work. I sent an email to their support team but haven’t heard anything yet.

Anyone else having this problem? Fixes or work arounds…

I had a similar problem. Considering I bought it a very long time ago, I figured it has been abandoned.

What are your symptoms, i.e., what do you mean “doesn’t work”?

Can’t change the size? You can change the size but doesn’t stick? What happens?

I’d uninstall and reinstall.

I didn’t have the app installed anymore so I just put it back on my iPad mini, no iPhone right now. I can’t change the table from 9 foot to any other table. I did see that I can successfully change to a custom distance so I’ll measure the distance and be able to use the app, after all.

It’s kind of obscure. I apologize if you already know this and it’s not working for you but the slide bar is how the table size is changed. Drag the white dot ️ on the blue slide bar left or right.

I keep forgetting how to do it. I’ve googled it at least a few times. My memory sucks. Maybe now I will finally remember it but probably not. Lol.

I just found a new feature of the Predator Break Speed App.

If you have just broken, and the app is showing your speed, and you realize you forgot to set the cue ball position, or the table size is wrong, or you forgot to change to a second ball break, you can hit "home", and make changes. The app will show your corrected speed on the break you just did.

I believe it will do that all the way up until you select to measure another break.

I started looking at mine as I was reading this thread and I couldn't figure it out either. That slider is not intuitive at all, haha. But glad to get a reminder of how it works, thanks @dquarasr!

I do like the app, don't use it often but recently was comparing my BK Rush to my older OB break cue with speed break shaft and I wanted some numbers on them. Was interesting, really close but slight edge to the BK Rush even though the OB feels like it's breaking harder for me for some reason.

Numbers don’t lie.

Unless you don’t believe them, then you can claim just about anything.
