Is case a redesign Mason?
I can't recall the lid being cut that way.

I hope this doesnt come off as being snotty- not intended. But Baron was right, this is not a mason case.
I have watched a crap ton of his videos because i was doing research before ordering a case.
This video shows a mason case, a little back story of how he started creating them and he also shows the interior of the case. Time stamp to start is 1hour 20 minutes in.

If i made a mistake with the the link, it is his most recent live sale on FB.
The reason i am saying something is mason cases are made differently, they are made to be lighter weight. He uses leather and a hard card stock, i think hes said before that is is similar to what they use in the sides of tennis shoes, to reinforce the leather exterior.

The case you are offering is the tube style. A top quality hard pvc tube surrounded by leather, it is heavier than a mason and stronger against being crushed.
The case you are selling also has upgrades beyond the standard. magnetic enclosure at the top without and mechanical parts. he calls it his puzzle latch.
Top pocket also has a magnetic enclosure.
Same with the middle pocket.
Another small addition i noticed is leather straps with snaps to hold the backpack strap to the side handle when not in use.
Darkcloud is selling a very nice case at half the price, maybe even a 1/3rd of the price.

I have a mason case as well and this looks different then what I have.

Pretty sure he's spot on. 3X6 CLASSIC LEATHER CASE is the actual name of the case.

Great case though no matter what the name and GLWS, as it would be a great addition to anyone's collection.

yeah your right.. and it’s still a great case at an excellent price.
 
Wish I hadn’t just bought an Instroke cowboy leather case. I’d take this off your hands quickly
