Looking for the years made, the correct model number,if it's a rare cue because the points are white, not black. TIA! Scott Erwin refinished it. He also says the owner never hit a ball with it after Scott refinished it in 1997.

They made the Gambler in all different layouts: queens, spades, aces, etc. Older logo and pill bumper is the one buyers look for. Just a WAG but i'd say 1500bux.

Tyvm, garczar! Some people made it out to be a fake because of the white points. Scott set me straight about it. He vouched for the seller also. And gave me a name of someone very knowledgeable on Meucci originals cues. Thank you sir!

It looks like an 84-9, although yours has a pill bumper so it could be a MO-12. Regardless, the white points are normal. I sold an unrefinished 84-9 last year for ~$1k.

Ty! It's a very clean cue! I waited on it because some people were saying it was a fake. But Scott E set me straight on it.

You are correct. He has a Clubs cue on the there also, make him an offer.
They're beautiful cues, but I have so many Meuccis now I can't possibly buy another! I'm trying to talk myself into letting go of a few, so I can appreciate the others more.

This cue in great condition like it is, even refinished, is very sought after as a Meucci. The clubs and spades bring more money than the red card suits. The originals also bring more money. Definitely going for $1,000+ -- not bad!

Thanks Mike! The Spades cue is a preference of mine! Me not playing with it is my temptation! I had a DE Dale Earnhardt edition Huebler cue number 44 unplayed and it almost killed me not to use it! Thanks again sir!

Hi Mike.

Just out of curiosity, why is the black Spades and Clubs worth more?
I tought they produced way more of them. Especially the Spades one.

Scott is Doctor Meucci.
He has my 84-9 Clubs and the 90's HOF-4 Spades and Diamonds.
Can't wait for them to rejoin the family again :)

The black card suits matched the overall cue much better than the red - as per the appeal to most followers - black and white in the butt sleeve matches up nicer with the wrap and forearm colors.

Totally agree that the colour does match the cue better than the red one.
But i always thought that production numbers would set the price.
Seen alot of both M-12 and 84-9E and the reverse 84-9B in Spades and Clubs up for sale the last few years.
The only Diamonds i've seen, was the one i bought from Sweden. HOF-4 Hearts is put up for sale every now-and-then.

Would love to own the reverse one :)

Ive had a 97-25 i got 20 years ago. Has always served me well with the two red dot shafts. tons of masse control. kept it in great condition because it took me 3 pay checks to save up the 750 at the time. I say its served me well because ive seen a lot of hate for meucci, seems a lot have had bad experience or just dont like the feel.

I'm fortunate to have the chance of testing pretty much everything of the main companies, both productionline cues, high-end stuff and a few customs. Honestly, in my opinion there's not alot of cues that compares to the vintage Meucci cues at all. Nowhere near that smooth hit and the action you get from a red-dot. Personally i now prefer the new Meucci Kielwood shafts in 11,7mm. Hate the carbon tho. Tried Meucci, Predator, Jacoby, Mezz, Cuetec, McDermott etc. Would like to try the Whyte, as i've heard lots of positives
