Cue rolls a little off but only when together

This has bugged me for years and years. I have an old Dufferin that was my very first cue. I'll probably never sell it even though I never play with it just because it was my first. Anyway, the butt rolls perfectly straight and the shaft rolls perfectly straight but when put together the cue wobbles some. Any idea what caused this?

The mating faces are off or dirty. Easy fix for a cute repair person, should take twenty minutes.

Very common. Possible to fix by hand, but I'm not going to go into that here.

There is a chance that the pin is bent. That's a bigger job, but still not the end of the world.

Thanks! Still an easy fix for an ugly repair person?

I'll look at the mating surfaces closely.
