ISO: Information on this case, please. I've had it looked at and the opinion is it's a Palmer case. I know these later cases were painted white with the Palmer logo. It's a later O'Neil case by the square latches, later chalk compartment and different style handle. TIA!

I think you have a box case with similar latches to an O'Neil, but a cheap handle

Nice box case, not a Palmer or O'Neil in my opinion

I thank you for the reply. However the Palmer collector site describes in detail the case I now have. I've had it since about 2000. It had a Pete Margo Bullet cue in it. Sold it long ago though.

The handle with extended metal attachments through eyeholes on either end of the handle is not something that I have ever seen on an O'Neil or Palmer case. Both authentic Palmer and O'Neil cases would have the handle attached closer to the body of the case as in your other photos- so that the case would not be bouncing back and forth as it was being carried.

Mike hi. The other cases I had were earlier cases w the rounded hardware and different handles. This is a later example. It had a Pete Margo Bullet cue in it w the Palmer logo mostly worn away like most I've seen. Sold that cue long ago, the guy didn't want this case because of the worn icon. Here's a picture of a later cue and box, please check it out, my friend.

The first that I have seen - must have been a change toward the end of Palmer’s life as a business.
I believe so myself, Mike. The later cases seem to be reinforced unlike the early ones I had. I remember the early cases had the chalk compartment wall that would fold over to accommodate a longer cue. This later case has the rigid sewn in wall. But the later cases would accommodate a 60" cue. I learn something new about everyday my friend. Regards, Scott.

The Palmer logo in your photos looks stamped, where if the gold lettering were worn, wouldn't the indent still be visible?

This case had some of the Palmer logo on it back in about 2000,but it was wearing away. It was painted on in white I remember. Never was in gold. It had a Pete Margo Bullet cue in it and I sold the cue years ago but the. buyer didn't want me case, idky.
