Also you need to consider the maker into the equation. Years ago i ordered two shafts and i said i want them exactly the same. Neither shaft was exact. they were milimeters off. Also overtime it's wood and a natural product and how it was cured effects it, years from now the subtile diffrences could be alot more.

I firmly believe that certain combinations of wood affect the feedback I get from a cue. That feel when you hit the shot. The resonance factor, or whatever you want to call it. That's why certain combinations of wood are used specifically in the production of musical instruments like violins and guitars, etc ... Resonance. Some just sound better.
Some just play better.
I gotta feel that music.
I'm also heavily medicated. 😎

Best combo for me is Ebony front, Radial pin with various handles, they, I mean all 3 cues that I have that fits this description plays better than all my maple forearm cues
