How are Revo shafts different today than when first introduced in 2016?

It seems that the company would have made some changes to the shaft in the eight years since it was introduced.

Predator has during those eight years, introduced a 11.8mm Revo shaft, a break cue, a jump cue, but what about the Revo players shaft itself? Any changes there or does the 2016 shaft work like the 2024 shaft?

Not aware of any changes, I'd guess they're the same. Whatever advances they've made I'm guessing we'll see whenever they release a Revo 2.

I had one of the original revo’s (12.9mm) but before they started marking the size because that was the only size available at first and only black vault plate. I couldn’t play with it. The spin and deflection were very hard to judge (coming from a 314-3 shaft). I went back to the 314-3 quickly. A few years later, picked up a cue with a 12.9 revo with the white vault plate. Plays great. Very different than the first one. No idea why but they definitely changed something.

Just shaft diameter and you can get what looks like a white Ferrell for the people that bothered. Trust me if they made any changes there would be a revo 2 lol

I agree. The first batch of Revos had a clunky metal pipe feel to them. Actually today I tried one of the 12.4mm Revos (30”) and it played much better and totally different. The power was there but also control and feel. I was pleasantly surprised!
