Idk why there's such a reticence to admit this works. It just baffles me to no end.
For those of you without a PhD in Physics, just try it. Simplicity at its finest. It will get you where you need to be.

One more time in case many of you are confused by all the hair splitting and ridiculous examples.
One line from the cue ball to the pocket. One line from object ball to pocket produces 2 contact points. Strike the object ball where the line disects with the part of the cue ball its line disects.
Keep in mind pockets are bigger than one ball.
When you apply English or account for cit, the lines shift accordingly.
Play with this!! Have fun with it!! Easiest and simplest on the planet. Period.
I'm not advocating anyone change what they use or what works for them. That's the opposite of what I wish.
This is for players struggling with the myriad systems out there that need a simple way to aim that works!!!
And please fellas, no more PM's w questions. This is simple. Get on a table and put it to work.

Simple question: Does this drawing illustrate the system as you just stated it? If so, how come the 2 ball is not going towards the pocket from that line? If the drawing is misunderstanding your system, how does it need to be fixed?

Both are wrong. Get on a table and try it. If you can't make it work, then don't use it. If you can then by all means enjoy!! Thank me later.

Too many things get misconstrued that way.
