Table Identification Help

Hello,

New to the forum.

I am trying to ID a pool table that came with my house. There do not appear to be any marking on it except from whoever set it up last. Handwritten in cursive, is what I believe says "Meridian". I looked online, and there is a moving company with that name, but I called them and they did not have any info.

Other than that - nothing to ID it from what I can see.

I only have pictures from when I had to disassemble it to move it, and they are as follows:
I can take more of the pieces, if that is helpful. 3 piece slate, and appears to be solid wood frame, and leather drop pockets.

I appreciate any insight - and thanks in advance!

Based on the pics it looks like a generic chinese table you see in just about every gameroom store. Not tournament grade but fine to have fun on.

chinese copy of an olhausen brentwood, and santa ana.

probably an okay home table for the family.

Thank you both.

I had a feeling that if there are no markings - it probably isn't that great of a table. I thought it resembled an older olhausen as well. Also wanted to know so that I have a sense of how far to go with having it professionally setup.

I would get it setup with new cloth and call it a day. Anything else and you're lighting money on fire.

its like having a chevy instead of a benz. both get the job done just fine.

Could it be a Schmidt??

So I had the table setup. The guy that did it has been setting up tables for 40 yrs.

He seems to feel it is a Gandy table. HIs reasoning is the carpentry on the rails, the fact that the entire table is solid wood (including the rails - no cardboard), and then the hardware used to attach the rails. I also noticed that the frame was stamped from the factory (or it appears).

This table was setup by another company at some point, so that could also explain some of what we saw.

Here are some pics during the setup process.

I'm just curious to see what you all think of this:
