Shaft has slight roll, Butt doesn't.

I have a preowned Pechauer cue with Predator Shaft that I purchased recently. The shaft has slight roll, but when I roll cue put together the tip leaves the table. The butt rolls fine from what I can see. Is this something I could just purchase new shaft and cue would roll ok? My concern is if I purchase another shaft it will still have a warp/roll. My own fault for not checking this earlier.

When the shaft is rolled by itself?
Sounds like a possible face problem.
Find a good cue mechanic near you and have them take a look.

I'm not sure what is meant by "face problem"? Any input is greatly appreciated.
The 2 faces at the joint possibly need shaved off between centers. If the cue mechanic wants to do it with only the joint side sticking out from the chuck of the lathe, kindly say no thank you and go find someone else who understands how to do it between centers. Maybe only 1 face is off but you may as well do both the butt and the shaft.
Disregard if you own a lathe and know how to do this yourself. However, if you did, I assume you wouldn't be here asking.
Possible simple fix. You just need the right equipment and the knowledge to do so.

You can also start by cleaning the two faces of both sides of the joint area off first and see if that helps.
Also check the pin by rolling the butt and looking to see there is movement on the pin as you roll it.

Refer to the second sentence with green print. ^^^^^

Thanks for the input. I've been playing pool for 25+ years but cue repairs are not my area of expertiese. I spoke with seller who is also cue mechanic and they are going to look at it to try and correct issue.

FACING issue. its where the shaft/butt actually come in contact, the face. if its not flat/true you get wobble. easy fix for a cue mech.
