Brunswick would not honor a warranty on my newly purchased GC4 as my dealer/distributor was not an Authorized Brunswick dealer. Also I believe the warranty is for the original owner. Please excuse my comments but the buyer should know exactly what they are getting... with no surprises.• Full lifetime warranty on the table!!
After 12 years a rail turned to stone. Rubber was like a brick. And if Brunswick would have honored it they would have sent 1 rail. They wanted the rail back for inspection. Labor was not included to remove the dead rail and to replace the new one. They did everything they could to avoid recourse. What was wrong with the table?
Year was 2010. Had all 6 replaced and rails extended. New 860 also. Close to $1000. Mechanic (The Turk) was great. Worked out better.Just out of curiosity, how much did they charge you for a new rail?
I absolutely agree that the buyer should know exactly what they are getting. I wouldn't want someone to be unhappy with the table that they purchased from me and I wouldn't conclude the deal until they are 100% satisfied with their purchase. I would even go as far as giving them 10 days to play on the table and truly get the true feel for the table they just purchased. But I am a little reticent about doing that, especially with me not being an authorized Brunswick dealerBrunswick would not honor a warranty on my newly purchased GC4 as my dealer/distributor was not an Authorized Brunswick dealer. If the table is sold used there is no warranty. It’s only for the original buyer/owner. Like yourself I have no intention of harming the sale. Just clarifying the warranty. What does "reticent" mean? If you're "a little reticent", does that mean we can still return the table within the first 10 days of purchase if not happy / satisfied? It's a little confusing.
Lastly, what are the disadvantages of making a purchase from someone that's not an authorized Brunswick dealer?
Not busting stones...serious questions!![]()
Most important is to see what is being purchased. In person or pictures. Otherwise it’s on the buyer.I don't understand all the discussion on this. They're described as used in like-new condition. If you want a GCVI Tournament table, the price either works for you or does not.
I can post additional photos of each of the tables instead of just one if it helps, but honestly, it will just look like duplicate pictures bc they are all in the same like new condition. Most important is to see what is being purchased. In person or pictures. Otherwise it’s on the buyer.
Maybe post a little more about yourself/company. Location etc?I can post additional photos of each of the tables instead of just one if it helps, but honestly, it will just look like duplicate pictures bc they are all in the same like new condition.
