AJ Manas vs Orcollo on live now

Good lord people, turn off the phones or whatever is dinging every 3 seconds and ignore the lint.:eek:

When you live and breathe pool you're gonna get some great players coming up as usual.

I was thinking about DOs demeanor in this match and I've rarely seen him nervous like that.

He was vaping and fidgeting the entire time.......

I kind of feel bad for him. He had quite a lucrative career when he was playing a lot in the US- winning tournaments, gambling matches (he became one of the best one pocket players in the world).

Now he is basically confined to the Philippines while in decline skillwise. As the old saying goes- time waits for no man.

Looks like he was doing pretty good untill 2024
maybe he stopped to relax a bit and just because he lost one doesn't mean anything.
Manas is great and he will be greather but it could have gone the other way just as easy

I don't think DO was slowing down at all to the point where he got the visa ban. If that hadn't happened I'd say he'd have been a favorite to top a lot of major events the last few years. I was listening to a stream and someone that sounded like he knew him mentioned he was pretty bummed on it and it definitely affected his game. The whole situation sucks but that's why the IRS is undefeated

I have spoken to him a couple times in real life (the first time I didn't know who he was), and the last time I spoke with him, I watched him take a lot of money from a friend of mine who was visiting for China Open. We talked about all manner of things.

He told me that his 'pulse' isn't what it used to be. He said that your 'pulse' is what makes you a champion. Everyone can move a cue backward and forward, but not everyone has the 'pulse' of a champion.

He said his 'pulse' wasn't what it used to be. I inferred that this meant his nerves starting to creep into his game.

We talked about loads of stuff, not just pool, and like many Philippine friends, he is always friendly, polite and happy to share.

My ‘pulse’ is kinda fading off a bit as well….

I suppose if you have everything else wired then sniper breath wouldn't hurt. So far doesn't concern me. Natural breathing; nothing square or triangular.
