AJ Manas vs Orcollo on live now

he's played heyball too. don't know how he's fared but the little i watched he was still eerily accurate despite the glasses
He's pretty sharp. But there aren't many outside of China who are sharp enough to compete with those who have been playing it their whole lives. It's like American Football. Create a sport that you know you can be 'World Champions' of indefinitely lol
My ‘pulse’ is kinda fading off a bit as well….
Mine too, at my work desk... only perks up again when it's time to pick up my cue 😂

I don't think DO was slowing down at all to the point where he got the visa ban. If that hadn't happened I'd say he'd have been a favorite to top a lot of major events the last few years. I was listening to a stream and someone that sounded like he knew him mentioned he was pretty bummed on it and it definitely affected his game. The whole situation sucks but that's why the IRS is undefeated
IRS??? WTF do they have to do with DO's situation? This was covered TO DEATH when it happened so do a search to find out. DO's visa situation is one of his own making. He should be close to coming back and he probably can't wait.

The person made it pretty explicit that he was not accurately reporting his winnings to the IRS while under a travel visa, which I'm sure did no favors. I was more making a joke. No shit his situation is his responsibility, don't blow a gasket

I've never even heard of Manas before- does he even have a fargo rate?

Amazing how deep the well of talent is in PI

Manas is a known quantity now. Just turned 18. Best young player in the world. Jeremy Jones thinks he'll be top 5 globally within several years.

That's why he got an invite to the Premier League of Pool this year.

That said, he finished 15 of 16 players in the PLP a few weeks ago. Went 4-11. Still needs a much better break and better safety and kicking play. Like most young players, he wants to go offensive.

He's got all the tools, though, and the low nerves of youth. Orcollo is 46 now and on the downside of his career ...

thanks for clarifying- not following the pro scene that closely this year.

It was a five year travel ban….. just be getting close.
About 13 months ago in another thread, I asked Jay Helfert: "... will Dennis be able to return to the US at some point? If so, do you know when? Does he want to?"

Jay's answer was: "Yes, but still almost three years away. He's two years into a five year ban. No telling what he will do then. He will be 47 or 48. His game has slipped during the last two years, although he is beginning to play in tournaments in Asia, with lackluster results so far."

So it sounds like the ban, at this point, still has nearly 2 years to go.
