Is he a boozer? He didn't sound like the old Johnny Archer when he was commentating last night and then I watched him play and he was another guy. LOL
Shaky, not calm, undecisive looking and he didn't belong. They promoted this tour as fast paced and guys running the ball out in 45 seconds. If Archer was down there is no way I expect him to run a ball out in 45 seconds. This tournament really shows the age of the older players because you have to think quick and be on your feet.
I see this style of play as making pool look more professional and you have to be quite athletic to pull off the run outs Savannah and her peers were doing. 50 to 70 second runouts.
She almost came back against Johnny but too much mistakes. 3 minutes on the clock and down 2 games I believe. Break and run in 60 seconds and hope Johnny breaks dry. Regardless, Johnny was wasting time and got the victory.

Charlie Bryant let the cat out of the bag on Archer. Zero respect for that slug. I once heard him tell Earl that he'd take him outside. Earl replied "I'll fold you up like the bag of bones you are."

Given his depth of knowledge, experience, and talent he could be in a walker and still win.

in his prime, Efren always seemed to be walking around the table at a leisurely “stroll” pace, so yes, he still is at that pace but he never really ran around the table much even when in the heat of competition.
His relaxation at the table might have contributed to his success.
