Anyone here try Triple 60 shafts ??

AZer cuemakers warn that professionals only should install but you may want to install a Rhino $5 ferrule. I bought one for my 10.5mm Rhino and it measures 8.6mm plug, 9.6mm height, and 13.6mm cap. The cap requires filing but the plug may fit with super glue.

When did they start offering these??
I don't believe they were available when I got my shaft last year.

Regarding the $5 Rhino ferrule/vault plate? AZers prefer making your own from Hydex 202, Tomahawk, or Elforyn.

Could Rhino's ferrule, the one used in Rhino's carbon fiber shafts, replace it?

Rhino sells the $5 ferrule in nine sizes for the nine shaft-tip sizes: 10.5, 11.8, 12.2, 12.4, 12.5, 12.6, 12.7, 12.8, and 12.9 mm.

I've had a couple customers ask about replacement of the ferrule on a Cuetec Cynergy due to the ferrule itself mushrooming. I have yet to take on a CF or fiberglass repairs. Suggestions???

Yea! They could at least throw in a cheap butt. The price is a bit ridiculous. You may as well get multiple shafts at that point.

Maybe so, but I got a local key maker to put in a new ferrule with a better material so the shaft is actually good as new.

Same, same but different. Not much between AR, AD3 and HJ besides the silly names tbh

They never responded. Broke 2 ferrules playing 9 ball. I have a rhino break shaft I use for breaking. Idk in how much different the break cue is but it is perfectly fine.

I've got the rhino breaker and it's pretty great for the price. Held up fine hittin' em hard for a year and a half now. No clue on their playing shafts, but the breaker is good.

I would just like anyone’s feedback before I take the $600 plunge. I do like the fact I can use it on all my cues.

I am unable to describe the hit, but I will say that it is by far the best shaft I ever played with. Far better then the Jacoby Black for example. To be honest though, I have not had the opportunity to text out many CF shafts. I really enjoyed playing with the Whyte Carbon though.

I'd like to see an in-depth review and maybe a comparison to other cf stuff. I'm sure they're nice but i find it REALLY hard to believe that they're worth $400+ more than Raven/Rhino stuff.

The feel / hit is like night and day even compared to a $475 Jacoby Black, in my opinion. The Whyte Carbon is far better.

No worries, if you want side by side comparison, I’m sure I can arrange a photo, but would need to organise.
The AD3 and HJ have slightly shorter extension piece than AR. AR handle is split 50/50. The other two more like 60/40. Overall length is give or take a centimeter. I felt pretty comfortable switching between them. Whereas there are some that make you rethink your whole jump game.
