Keith Thompson discussion in NPR

There is a fantastic discussion with Keith Thompson going on in the NPR section. While I didn't know who he was, I do now and it has been great to read some of his stories. I'm sure a lot of you know of him. Anyway, just thought I would let the rest of you know if you are interested but would never know it's being discussed there. It’s a good read/story. I’m fortunate.. I did not have enough talent to get too involved with pool. Playing for $1.00 a game on a Saturday afternoon was a treat. Still is. Pool is a hobby. Just a hobby.

Ya, I used to play for beers in the 70's and early 80's, then quit pool for more than 30 yrs. Now, I'll just buy someone I'm playing with a beer, just because. I know, I'm a big spender.
