Only god knows the differences between this one and the last one (except for the fixed joint) but this is cheaper at $400

Whyte Carbon is a part of Triple 60. Here is Triple 60 TS1 and their other shafts (plus a custom shaft available for $750

So glad nobody makes a CF shaft with a male pin.

Don't want the temptation

Has anyone tried the wood grain or pearl shafts? Becues' painted shafts were terrible: even if you wore a glove they were not slippery.

I’ve tried them all from triple… I also tried cynergy/revo/go custom and many others just to give you perspective

With triple whyte I’ve tried maple, white pearl, white silver, and the raw black

Pearl is not slippery at all and as I hate playing with gloves I could not stand it… with gloves you still would feel that it’s not smooth

Wooden grain is also not slippery. Actually it’s worst than pearl. Barehands it’s unplayable even if you’re relaxed I.e no sweats and whatnot. I cannot imagine how would it feel with sweats and playing for a serious match or tourney. With gloves it’s also very rough. You can feel it

Raw black from whyte is very very very smooth. Why I said very three times? Because it’s smoother than all other CF shafts that I’ve tried. I use it without gloves and it feels so slippery even if I’m sweating. So yeah it’s good! And it is what I mainly use as well as the revo shaft…

Sometimes I don’t want too slippery so I use revo. Even tho revo is still smooth without glove but the raw whyte is even smoother.

So here you have what I think do these shafts.

I have a few CF shafts and I don’t think that the slippery of them is the issue, they are all smooth and can be played without a glove.

The issue is that CF picks up dirt fast without a glove and becomes sticky and needs constant wiping and sometimes that doesn’t help either and it needs alcohol wipes, which is too much to deal with in a middle of a match.

Of course, it is depends on table cleanliness, humidity and how sweaty your hands get.
I doubt that the Triple 60 is different in this aspect.

This aspect should not be in my opinion a factor in choosing one shaft over the other.
It’s about feel and performance that play right for you.

I'm going to call BS on that one. I use a CF shaft without a glove and I have no need to constantly wipe the shaft and I go months without using alcohol wipes. It does not get sticky at all.

good for you
my experience is different.
My first ever session with a CF shaft was without a glove and it was great.
In the middle of the second session it started to get a bit sticky, trying to remove it with a towel didn't really worked.
Third session I had a glove...
If you play in better conditions that I play in, you could experience something different, but do remember that most pros never used gloves, they hated it and used some talc if needed (so did I), but now most of them that do use CF, use gloves, trust me, it's not just for marketing...

Ive been playing with 12.75 30” shaft for few months now which is better than Cynergy I had before. Now I will be posting it for sale on here soon as well as the break shaft…. Soon as i recieve my new Tiger 🐯 cues

Many emails with triple 60 recently asking them for a custom build to remove glossy and why so bold with branding at the joint and more importantly that glossy area at that joint I hate. Even Fedor doesnt play with new one anymore but with the original that first came out. Its not practical when you need to extend for longer shots. Which one would you choose below?

The new Gorst shaft is built to the same specs of a custom shaft that was made for Fedor, just with branding and now available to the public.
I don’t like the branding either and the glossy part does seem weird
