Hi All, I bought a new custom cue and I like the cue other than the slight wobble I notice in the butt and when put together. I'm debating whether I should return it since I got it at a good price. I think the joint pin may be misaligned. I took a few photos trying to show what I mean.
Does this joint pin look misaligned?

Yes…..it does not correct.
Was part of your "good deal" to get a misaligned pin?

Bent might be the correct description
At least what's wrong is visible. It's definitely replacement grade.

Judging by the photos, you'll likely find that the pin is relatively centered to the face of the joint collar, but was installed off center to the butt of the cue. The maker appears to have sanded with the pin in a collet and tapered part of the joint collar. If your deal was 'good' enough, you got what you paid for.

Looks like it arches up in some shots..so I would have to say yes...it's bent. Send it back for a new one.
I think it’s the table, sell it(especially if it a GC IV)
and buy a Diamond table.
