Has anyone used one? Been looking at BK Rush and Mezz PB G, but getting tired of not finding any in stock. Know a lot of people love the Whyte playing shafts, but haven't heard anything about the break shafts. Would love to hear if anyone has experience with one.

Stick to your plan. Doesn't matter if you buy a Whyte. Except in the end... You will have bought 4 cues instead of 2.

I have the break shaft. I've tried it on a couple of butts I had around. Now I use it on a Jacoby Heavy Hitter. Love it. No complaints. Hits good. Not sure I love the tip, but it works fine. Oh and its cheaper than a Predator.

Whyte Carbon break shaft user here. I bought the shaft because I couldn't get Predator to sell me a break shaft with a radial joint to fit a custom break cue. So far I have no regrets in my purchase. If you want a shaft you can only use on a Uni-loc joint go with the Predator. At least for now the Whyte Carbon shaft allows for use on just about any break butt available.

I've already got a couple of break cues I could put it on. Was hoping it could go on my Gulyassy Orange Crusher, but I can't figure out what kind of joint that cue has. Whatever it is, it's not something that Whyte offers an insert for. So it'll probably go on my Joss Thor Hammer if I end up going that direction.

Every time I go back to my Players Jump-Break cue, I’m impressed just how good it is.
I used it tonight in a small 9ball tournament and I got really good breaks compared to the last few weeks.
I think that for 9ball with the 9 on the spot and breaking from the box, I even prefer it over my BK2 with either the original shaft or the Raven carbon shaft.
And it also jumps great. It has a modified ferrule made of phenolic and a Samsara J/B tip.
For 8ball (on a 9ft table) I prefer the BK2 with the Carbon shaft (although I can break just fine with Players cue)
