Has anyone here moved over to the inFuzed shaft from a full CF shaft? If so, I'd love to hear more details. I recently tried the J. Flowers SMO-W shaft which is maple with a CF core. I have a feeling that a Kielwood shaft with CF core might be just what I'm looking for.

I got it after owning a few CF shafts.
It’s nice but I prefer the CF shafts better.

I tried Infuze, and it is not my cup of teas. I love KW more. Accuracy when needed, right ammount of feedback, great deflections when needed.

Infuze feedbacks were not that good. It felt more of a CF than KW. Also deflections is very minimal...aka...feeling Dead as well. Also surprisingly, very light in the front toward the tip...which I dont care much for

Just notified that 3 KW shafts are in transit to me right now. Two are mine and the other is for a close friend that jumped on my wagon train after learning a heavier uncored version could be built without adding any weight at the collar. It has taken awhile to finally see the finish line on this exhaustive search but I just knew this was possible despite the contrary opinions from several cue makers I discussed building my KW shafts. The 3 shafts weigh 1 @4.2ozs. & 2 @4.1ozs. Shaft sizes are 12.6mm and 12.75mm with one shaft having a matching collar for my friend’s cue. I’ll post photos and a review after my KW shafts arrive but in the meantime, here are a few photos by the cue maker.

Just finished my shaft. Ended up 4.1 oz. I’ll play with it and see how I like it. I can remove some wood from behind the threads if I need to lighten it a bit.

You were the 1st cue maker that contacted me after I originally ordered shafts that turned out too light. As it turns out, Jacoby Cues was successful and built two flat faced 4 oz. Kielwood shafts. They had my order confused with another and the shafts I was told were 3.6 ozs. actually were 4 ozs. Unfortunately, it was after my order was placed with a different cue maker which they were very understanding about. They said they could do it and proved it just as you have building this really handsome KW shaft. I’m surprised more players don’t want a weight proportioned shaft just like you made. Cudos, you walked the talk.

I was surprised how 12.6mm felt different and more comfortable in my closed bridge than a 12.5mm. I don’t know why but it felt better. I realize my fingers can’t discern a 1mm difference but it really did feel different and more suited to a closed bridge.
