Katana 1X1 Cue Case Info Needed

I'm kind of a minimalist when it comes to cue cases. I'm not a big fan of the big 4X8 and 3X6 cases that seem to be popular. I like the slimmed down style of the early It's George and Centennial 1X2 cases without the external pockets. About the closest made today seems to be the Katana 1X1. I'm curious what people think of those in regards to cue fit and protection, and how well they have held up over time. Any info from current or past users would be appreciated.

I have the 2x2
It’s nice but a bit tight.
I wish it had a pouch, I attached a small camera pouch to it with a velcro belt.

I've been looking at the 2X2 also. I'd be OK with a bit tight. It's better than having the cues flopping around in the case. Thanks for the input!!

I threw a McDermott butt and a Revo shaft in the 1x1. So long as you insert the butt bumper down and the shaft tip down, it has a pretty snug fit.
