Does it seem like Filler has not been quite as dominant lately? I noticed his name seems to be absent from later stages of tournaments as of recent. Does anybody have any insights into this?

4th on the money list with wins at the European Open and DCC 9 ball, top 5 US Open, top 10 China Open. He has had a nice year, though not quite up to his standard from 2023-2024 where he was #1 and #2 respectively.

He's done. Stick a fork in him.

Not taking anything away from filler, but I’ve been telling everyone that Fedor is the best player In the world today not Josh.

What Predator model cue is he using now? (black and white).
Looks like the crown cue predator gave him as a wedding gift which he played with a few years ago when he switched back to the revo shaft. Same cue Chang Jun Lin used for a long time.

Yes, he definitely has the highest Fargo still. But as far as coming out in the first or second place lately, it would seem like he is lacking.

I don't mean merely that he has the highest Fargo Rating. He started the year with that. So just to maintain the gap, he'd have to outperform everyone else in 2025. I mean his actual performance has exceeded even that high expectation, and he is outperforming everybody else by a bigger margin. Wins for his 1200 games in 2025 are what is expected of a player rated over 870.

High finishes in major events or money lists are noisy measures. This one is still noisy but less so.

one pocket included.. how is the performance in just 9b / 10b?

Just because he’s the best player in the world doesn’t mean he’s always going to win or even place in major tournaments. I’ve gotten roasted on this before but you still need some rolls or a little “luck” in tournaments. Your break has to be working, or your opponent misses a shot they’re 99% normally, or you miss a shot you make 99%. Luck goes both ways.

Yes, obviously you have to be good or even great to consistently be in the conversation. Which is exactly what Filler is. He might be the favorite but short races still have alot of variance. We’re talking about a godly 850 playing a short race against another godly “only” 800 world class player.
