Diamond Professional Delivery Time

I just checked with Diamond Billiards about ordering a Professional table. Delivery time is 4-6 months. Had no idea it would be that long. Are they that busy? I guess they must be. I should probably check with my renters now to see if they want to renew for 2026. If not I had better get that Diamond Professional table ordered soon.

You were told in a previous "Diamond table post" where you could get one much quicker.

Looks like you need to remove some people from block.

Mine took just over a year for a 7'.

Good info from responders. I'm planning on moving in June '26 and ordering a 9' Professional. Guess I'll be looking at tables first... <shrugs>

Why does it take so long?

Do they start from scratch?

Or are they that swamped with orders?
Yes they build from scratch and yes they are swamped with orders.

I live in pa and have a hook up with someone that gets a couple tables every other week. I guess I waited about a month for a 7 foot black table. If you want something other then black your going to wait. I’m not good at waiting lol

I think they grow the trees for the wood. And they all walk 25 miles to work, in the snow. Something along those lines.

If you are expected a quick turnaround when ordering directly from Diamond, good luck with that.
Aren't the tools hand forged from raw steel too?

You could buy mine.
Pay today, pick up tomorrow.

You do know the diamond is going to be a harder playing table than the gc, right?

It WILL make you play worse and hopefully return to your natural level eventually...where you currently are.

You may lose practice at steeper-angle side pocket shots, at least. It takes awhile, but GC players will eventually give those up totally.

OP.. where do you live. My black 9’ 1 piece Professional w maple and PRC rails might be
might be for sale. Would be late Oct-Nov depending upon availability of a GC7 and mechanic to set it up. It is 3 years old .. lightly played on and in excellent condition. Located in S. Florida
